  • Review work order to determine job requirements and, where required, seek clarification from appropriate personnel
  • Review workplace health and safety and environmental protection practices and/or procedures,
  • Identify, assess and take actions to mitigate risks and hazards associated with assessing and selecting timber
  • Review workplace and quality procedures on timber selection
  • Conduct visual inspection of timber for suitability
  • Review and check timber against product specifications

Assessment Tasks
